Champions League is back today & with its return comes the task of Real Madrid to defend their title. Los Blancos, since the previous season has witnessed several changes to their squad by omitting their fringe players like Gareth Bale ( Los Angeles Fc ), Isco ( Sevilla ), and Jovic (Fiorentina) squad players like Marcelo ( Los Blancos Legend), and letting go of their crucial first team player Casemiro to Manchester United.

All this freeing up in their roster only lead to 2 incoming reinforcements in the form of Antonio Rudiger ( Chelsea ) and Aurélien Tchouaméni ( Monaco). Nevertheless, even though there are only 2 additions Los Blanco’s overall squad quality seems a tad better than the previous year. What does put me in concern is their squad comprises 23 players in a world cup year which can cause trouble during the later stages of the current season. On the other hand, Ancelloti has rotated the squad more so this will be a season to look for from Los Blancos’s perspective.
